| Reporting to our Senior Project Managers and Senior Occupational Hygienists, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing asbestos, hazardous building materials and mould contamination related inspection and testing services during remediation projects. Typical service work will include conducting inspections during remediation of asbestos/mould hazards, conducting air testing to ensure all engineering controls are affective, liaison with clients and remediation contractors, generation of technical reports and the ability to trouble-shoot during remediation projects The successful candidate will be expected to have strong inter-personal skills and have the ability to assess and provide independent decisions to remediation contractors during unforeseen circumstances on projects in the field. Evening and weekend work will be required on a regular basis. The desirable candidate will have a diploma/certificate in occupational health and safety in a related field from a recognized educational institution with a minimum of one year experience providing occupational health and safety related service in the consulting industry.
